One of many attributes that contribute to developing success, is celebrating victories. The club philosophy at Seacoast United Maine is to develop the individual player as a priority. With a direct focus on developing the player at the younger ages, teams and units begin to organically prosper, leading to successful results, performances and ultimately championships, as a direct by-product of our focus.
Over the last two weekends, Seacoast United Maine U13-19 teams have participated in the New England Premiership, State Cup Championships, held at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland and North Yarmouth Academy. Seacoast United Maine progressed to 8 State Championship victories, out of 12 contests!
The Seacoast United Maine Girls wrapped up the U13, U14, U16 & U17 State titles, on June 4th in Portland, while yesterday the club's Boys teams were victorious in the U13, U14, U15 & U19 match ups in Yarmouth! See pictures of each team during celebration here!
Speaking on the historic day for the club, Seacoast United Maine Director, Andrew Pelletier, mentioned how important it was for the club to enjoy these on the field successes; "When you look at the individual focus we place on the development of our younger players at the club, and then you experience weekends such as these, it's important for us all to celebrate the victories and use them, as a blueprint, to serve the future players at the club. These players and their coaches have worked hard all year and for many years previous to these moments. They deserve to havethese wins. We are looking forward to getting after more success next season".
