Branden grew up in Bath, Maine where he played 3 years of varsity soccer at Morse High School. Senior year Branden was a KVAC selection.
The 2011 St. Joesph's (Maine) graduate played 4 years as a Defender for the Monks. He was a member of the roster that made the school's first appearance in the GNAC Championship game in 2008. In 2009, his squad captured the league title and took SJC into the NCAA postseason for the first time in the program's history.
As a coach, his club teams have captured numerous event, state and regional championships. In 2013 he assisted the USL Super - Y New England Champions and National Champions (Maine's 1st National Championship in the sport). Branden has also served as an Assistant Coach with the State of Maine ODP Program. Since joining Seacoast United in the fall of 2014 Branden has helped guide a handful of SUSC Maine North and South teams to success. His teams have been victorious at the New England Premiership Final Four, Needham Memorial Day Showcase and the Coastal Summer Challenge.
Branden spent the 2012 season as an Assistant at Bates College with the Men's Soccer program, and the 2013 season as an assistant with the Women's Soccer program at the University of Southern Maine. From 2014-2017, Branden was the Women's Soccer Asisstant Coach at Maine Maritime Academy. He currently coaches Seacoast United Maine South's 2010 Girls, 2009 Girls and the 2005 Girls DPL teams. Branden is also the Girls Varsity head coach at Morse High School. He currently holds his USSF D license and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
