The WPSL & NPSL are two of the largest amateur soccer leagues in the world. Seacoast United is the only club in Maine to take part in these leagues, with a simple mission to advance the physical and social well-being of children and adults through competitive soccer.
The Seacoast United Mariners team for the 2017 season will comprise of players from Maine as well as some players from other parts of the United States or the rest of the world.
Hosting a player in your home could be a great opportunity for your family to experience spending time with someone from a different background or culture.
The league season runs from Mid-May until the end of July, and we are in need of families that would be willing to host a player in their home for all or part of that time (Approximately a 10 week period).
All we ask as a minimum is that you provide the player with a room and a bed, access to a shower/bathroom, access to a laundry, and share meals with them.
In return you will be hosting a young adult who could be a great role model for your young soccer player and the possibilities for lasting friendships are endless!
If you would like to explore this opportunity further or have more questions about what hosting a player could entail, please contact Martyn Keen.
