Seacoast United Maine is continuing to expand its footprint and nowhere is that more apparent than with the newest facility addition. Over the past couple of years, Seacoast United Maine has operated out of the indoor spaces in Topsham and Brewer in addition to a handful of satellite locations dotted across the state. In recent months, there have been some exciting developments which has seen an influx of players, families and even staff to the organization.
As part of this expansion, Seacoast United Maine will now be offering programming out of the Portland Sports Complex located just minutes away from downtown Portland. Even though the club has been running programs out of Portland over the years, the new facility will allow for more consistent programming and will help solidify Seacoast United's footprint in that region. The complex boasts several multipurpose turfed fields, several indoor hard courts and plays host to The Edge Academy. In addition to various sports offerings, the facility is outfitted with a restaurant, fully equipped gym and popular function room.
“We are excited to be able to offer programs at the Portland Sports Complex. The facility is easy to access for families traveling from just about anywhere and will be a vital resource for us as our program continues to grow." Commented Seacoast United Maine Director Andrew Pelletier. "On top of having access to state-of-the-art facilities, we will be able to use the office space at the facility which will allow staff to work through the day and step right onto the fields for sessions with our families!”
Program information will be announced in the coming weeks so be sure to check the Maine website for the latest updates. If you are interested in getting involved with Seacoast United Maine, please email email@example.com.
